It's only fitting that Jessica Alba would show up at the Guys Choice Awards looking like iconic cartoon siren Jessica Rabbit. With her hair styled in glamorous old Hollywood waves and an extreme side part, Ms. Alba did not disappoint the fellas with a hefty dose of va-va-voom.

But she didn't go overboard with the look: The Sin City star kept her makeup simple with matte grey eye shadow on her lids, white shimmery shadow in the corners of her eyes, well-applied false lashes and a glossy pink lip.

Get the Look: There's nothing sexier than rocking L.A. Confidential smooth waves to a cocktail party or black-tie affair, especially if you're wearing a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline.

Start by applying a few drops of a thermal styling product in your damp hair. Sally Hershberger Go with the Blow is lightweight and will minimize frizz and flyaways. Part your hair on the side and give your hair a good smooth blowout with a round brush.

Then, curl large sections of your locks with a medium barrel curling iron. Take each curled section and wind it up into a pin curl. Pin that to your head for at least a few minutes so the curls can set. Once the curls are ready, unpin each one and use a large flat brush to gently comb through the curls.

To get Jessica's sexy sideswipe, covertly pin one side of your hair behind your ear with a couple of bobby pins. Finish this sultry look by spritzing your hair with an anti-humidity hairspray, like Pantene Pro-V Restore Beautiful Lengths Anti-Humidity Aerosol Hairspray

While Jessica's hair rode the retro wave, she kept her makeup simple and flattering. You can get this look with just a few steps: Apply a matte, light grey shadow, like Illamasqua Powder Eye Shadow in Feline – Matte Light Grey, to your eyelids. Then, use a flat eyeliner brush to apply a shimmering white eye shadow to the inner corners of your eyes in a V-shape.

If you can easily apply false eyelashes without gluing your eyes shut then do so. If you're like the rest of us, use a couple coats of dramatic volume-building mascara like DiorShow Mascara in Rich Black. Finally, finish this glam look with a longwearing bubble gum pink lipstick that will keep your lips moist, like Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick.

The dudes who threw this event may think a retro wave is a type of music and they probably couldn't tell you what color lipstick Jessica was wearing, but we are pretty sure all the "guys" were all in agreement that she was their "choice."
