Zooey Deschanel Avoids Spring in Thick, Black Tights

What's that? You've never heard of the "no black tights after April 21st" rule?

That's probably because we made it up, but as far as we're concerned it should exist. And it should be as respected as the white pants between Memorial and Labor Day policy!

Zooey Deschanel looks adorable in this fitted black top and bright green skirt. Yes, a green accent necklace against the dark shirt would be a nice touch, but we can let that go.

What we cannot excuse is this leg wear! Not only do the black pumps make it look like the New Girl is wearing formal footsie pajamas, but it's too dark and gloomy for a gorgeous Spring day.

We suspect pale legs are the problem, in which case, would someone please send Zooey a lifetime supply of sunless tanner?
