Is The Canyons star rocking the world's first leather stockings?

Yesterday we thought Lindsay Lohan was back on fashion track. Today, we're not so sure.

Are these leather stockings?! They appear to be detached from the rehab-bound starlet's denim shorts and black boots, but we've never seen a thigh high quite so high.

Maybe it's actually all one piece? Leather leggings with a denim top? Like jeggings but...jeansings?

We don't know which is the lesser of these two evils, so we'll just channel all of our energy toward making them both disappear.
