A new documentary about Vogue magazine is out. Just in time, too. We were beginning to forget about how utterly crucial Vogue is in our daily lives, instead coming dangerously close to pondering less important subjects, like Syria. Thank you, Anna Wintour, for saving us from ourselves.
A bunch of stars attended a screening of this film and a few of them looked OK. Sarah Jessica Parker, unfortunately, was not one of them.
Neither was Dianna Agron. For the record, this Bottega Veneta dress would look fine at a luncheon. Not a lunch—a luncheon—but not for an evening event. It also looks more like she tarred and feathered a trellis, then bent it to her evil will.
Karen Elson is also circling the granny drain, if you must know. As for SJP, she attended the event in a vintage backless dress and accessories so mismatched it's like she deliberately wanted to upset us. Why, SJP, why? What did we ever do to you? We like everything you wear...usually.
Meanwhile, here's who actually looked good: Christina Ricci. She isn't looking particularly daring or exciting, but she also didn't try to pull off winter's sudden and terrifying trend of granny chic.
We also put Zosia Mamet in our winner's circle. Really, who knew? That's a Carven dress with carven sides. (Yep, we said it.) Love the unexpectedly heavy yet oddly appropriate shoe.
