The singer is a new judge on The X Factor, but we'd like to take a moment and judge this bag lady getup.

In general, we don't like to critique stars' outfits when they're not on a red carpet or clearly working some staged paparazzi photo op.

Then again, we firmly believe that flip-flops belong on exactly no one, ever, especially when the rest of their outfit is making them look like a great big black cube with a happy skull on the front.

And really, what's that skull so happy about? The fact that it's mocking Avril Lavigne and her big cubey ways? Does it think that being entombed in a skirt that's too billowy, a jacket that's too big and horrible pink extensions is somehow funny?
