The former Camp Rock star and singer, Demi Lovato, looked "Unbroken" from her rough past year when she appeared at the HMV store in London yesterday sporting freshly lightened locks and a black and white leather-lovin' look.

The star wore a white silk blouse with black detailing over a black tank and slim black pants. She finished her look with a cropped leather jacket and black crisscross strap wedges.

So just why was this Disney alum all the way across the pond? Well...

The 19-year-old was in London for personal appearances and to promote her new single "Give Your Heart a Break" from her hit album Unbroken. There's been some controversy surrounding the music video, however, as there's serious PDA between Lovato and a rather delicious-looking man.

The singer is also currently making headlines for the unpopular, if not obvious, statement that Hollywood is responsible for "glorifying an unhealthy body image," and that it should take responsibility for the messages it promotes.

Lovato checked into rehab a year and a half ago for eating and bipolar disorders, but has obviously emerged beautifully. Earlier this month she released a tell-all documentary on MTV titled "Stay Strong" about her ongoing struggles with bulimia and self-mutilation.

From the looks of things at this fan meet-and-greet, she seems to be happier and healthier. Stay strong, Demi!
