L.A. happens to be going through a heat wave right now, so a high ponytail is perfect. Trust me, there's nothing pretty about seeing your hair frizz out on the red carpet.
But it's not just for hot weather, I'm obsessed with this style. I wore a '50s style ponytail to the PETA gala last weekend and thought my hairdresser Judd Minter did a great job. It's such a stylish look.
