Jeff Lipsky/E!On this Sunday's episode of Escape Club, we lost not one but two escapees: Stephen Bamber and Lisa Tursini! Lisa made the bold decision to walk off the show when Stephen was eliminated in the second round, which stunned fellow escapees Jesse Blum and Donny Ghilardi.
"I think it was probably one of the boldest moves I've seen anyone do," Jesse pointed out. "They had a connection on the show, so I think it was a smart move for them both. If he was gonna exit, she was probably gonna be targeted next to leave. But it was one crazy a-- move."
Jesse, who had become fast friends with Stephen, wavered with his feelings when it came to Stephen's departure.
"I don't have a lot of guy friends and he's one of those people that's super easy to talk to," Jesse explained. "We were bros and I found out five seconds later that he goes and tells someone else a completely different story. I want to be friends with Stephen, but do I trust him? No."
"That was crazy—I didn't think that was going to happen," Donny remarked. "I know they had a connection but for her to leave and skip out on this great possibility of winning the great escape—I definitely did not see that coming but we definitely all wish them the best."
Donny also shared his thoughts with us as to whether he thinks those two have what it takes to stand the test of time.
"I don't really think I would ever do something like that," he said. "I think she was just living in the moment, did it without really thinking then looked in the mirror the next day and probably thought, 'What will I do now?'"
