Modern Family actor Reid Ewing is opening up about his battle with body dysmorphia.
In a blog post on the Huffington Post, the 27-year-old discussed his struggles and his addiction to plastic surgery.
"Body dysmorphic disorder is a mental illness in which a person obsesses over the way he or she looks," Ewing shared in his post. "In my case, my looks were the only thing that mattered to me. I had just moved to L.A. to become an actor and had very few, if any, friends."
The actor even admitted that he would "sit alone" in his apartment and "take pictures" of himself from every angle to analyze "every feature."
Ewing then went on to discuss his procedures, beginning with his very first one in 2008.
