What's it like to travel around the world to cover a red carpet premiere for the last Hunger Games movie ever?! Will Marfuggi can tell you!

The E! News correspondent left sunny L.A. yesterday and just made it to Berlin to cover The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 2 junket and premiere. Check out Will's blog below for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the job of a jet-setting E! News correspondent who gets to rub elbows with Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and more!

Berlin day 1:

My alarm goes off at 4:30 a.m. Monday morning. I'm groggy as hell but I hit my phone to stop the alarm before my fiancée wakes up. I get out of bed, drag my ass into the shower and get dressed. I walk through my front door and get into my car to make my way to LAX. I'm struck with a slight jolt of energy. The prospect of heading to Berlin to interview Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and the cast of Mockingjay is invigorating. But before I get there I've got a long day of travel. L.A. to Chicago, Chicago to Berlin. I spend all of Monday on a plane. Thank God I loaded my iPad with episodes of FX's You're the Worst and packed my backpack full of snacks. The cumulative 12+ hours I spend on the plane seem like nothing. I touch down in Berlin at 7 a.m., just in time to see the sunrise as I deplane. I spend the next eight hours checking into my hotel, showering that stale funk that accumulates on you during air travel and milling around Berlin. All of this in an effort to keep sleep at bay. I don't want to mess with my Circadian rhythm too much. I don't want to be tired going to these interviews.

Around 5 p.m. I board a bus with all of the other American journalists that have come to take part in this day of press. We head to the theater that will house the world premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 2 and settle in to watch the film. Then I signed a piece of paper that prevents me from telling you what I thought of it. I can only say: I saw it. Maybe it's safe to say: having seen the film I'm glad I endured 12+ hours in the air and a whole day of being tired out of my mind and I am very excited to sit down with the cast tomorrow. But for now it is time to, finally, give in to ...zzzzz.

Check back later this week for more from Will!
