Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell is speaking out.
The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo reality star has been in the center of ongoing controversy after she said she was molested as a child by mother Mama June Shannon's then-boyfriend Mark McDaniel, and now she's opening up to E! News about everything.
"Mama can be very selfish," Chickadee tells Catt Sadler during our one-on-one sit-down interview. "She ain't tell me she love me in a long time."
Cardwell then spoke about the alleged incidents that happened as a child. "You're 8 years old, you don't know. To me, it was kinda like, oh, get off me, it hurts. Stay off and leave me alone. And I'd just go to sleep and cry."
As for Mama June's relationship with McDaniel, Cardwell tells us, "She's always loved him," and adds, "She's using Sugar Bear to cover her ass."
The 20-year-old also told E! News that there are trust funds for all the girls (noting that $30,000 was set aside from show earnings), and claimed that she called the bank and was told there was only $17.90 in the account. "I have a feeling Mama used that money to buy a car or buy him what he wanted," she tells us.
However, Mama June denies these claims and tells E! News, "Not true. I have never brought a car for him and all her money is there, beside the money I have given her to live on—$400 every month and pay her $475 each month for cell phone bills for the last two years. That's the only money I have taken out of there."
Cardwell initially made her remarks to People magazine in a recent interview. Shannon has denied reports that she and her ex McDaniel, who registered as a sex offender in March after serving 10 years in prison for a 2004 aggravated child molestation conviction, were back together.
People quoted Cardwell as saying that when she was 8 years old, McDaniel dated her mother and "would try and touch me and all that stuff."
