Just when you thought nothing could top OK Go's amazing Rube Goldberg-style short for "This Too Shall Pass," they outdo themselves with the puppypalooza of "White Knuckles."

We admit we're partial to anything involving rescue dogs, but this video really gets our tails waggin'—and 5 million YouTube viewers agree.

So how did they do it?

Like the band's other famous videos, it was all shot in one take, frontman Damian Kulash tells Jason Kennedy on E! News. "It was Take 72 out of 128 attempts."

In addition to raising homeless-pet awareness by only using rescue dogs in the vid, OK Go is donating the net proceeds from sales of the video on their website to the ASPCA.

Aw, they're not only supertalented, they're a dog's best friend.
