Danielle Milian is Christina Milian's middle sister, a wife, a mother of two and a popular hairstylist and a blogger. She's also one of the stars on the new E! show, Christina Milian Turned Up!

Danielle is a self-proclaimed artist due to her hairstyling and beauty skills, but she's the first to admit fashion is not her forte. "I always rely on hand-me-downs from Tina. We just kind of take bits and pieces of what's current and what's old. As soon as I think I'm current, I look back and everybody else is three steps ahead of me." However, she does look up to Rihanna as a style icon because "she's always taking chances. She embraces her sexuality and has fun with her look."

For the 2015 year, Danielle sees a few different beauty trends to keep an eye on.

She explained, "Everybody needs a dark lipstick this year. Chocolate colored lipsticks are popular right now." For those of you ladies who struggle with a daily beauty routine or don't know where to begin Danielle suggests keeping three items with you at all times. "A gloss, a mascara and a powder compact, because if you have absolutely nothing on your face and you have those three, you can get away with anything." If she had to only pick one, she'd go with mascara because it helps you look alert and awake.

Although she's a beauty expert herself, lately, she's all about Kylie Jenner. "She is at the top of her game right now. I'm 28 years old and looking at 17 year old and wishing I had her makeup skills." Seriously though, who isn't?

As far as Christina Milian Turned Up, she's both nervous and excited for viewers to get an up close look at her personal life. Her main goal in life is to start a high-end product line for women of color and Latina women and she's hoping this exposure to her work will help that process move quickly.

"My husband was a big part of the process with me and you get to see the good side and the bad side of our relationship," Danielle admits. However, she does believe that these issues are common among young couples and she feels that her relationship is extremely relatable. "You're worried about money, you're worried about trying to support one another, and it's definitely a little bit scary that all of that is going to be out there."

Unlike Christina, Danielle hasn't always been about turning it up. "I actually hated the term 'turned up' at first. It actually drives me a little bit nuts because the more mature I get, the more I realize there's a whole new generation that's coming up and setting trends and I feel like I'm getting too old for it." But she has come around and now feels that "turned up" is fun and is all about reaching your full potential.

She believes that being confidence and holding your self to high standards and she does her best to constantly make that clear to the audience on the show. "Things just keep getting better, even when you're down."
