Get ready to turn it up!
Christina Milian Turned Up premieres on E! this Sunday and we talked exclusively one-on-one with Christina Milian herself about what to expect on the show, new music, fashion and much more!
With only days away, we're getting more and more eager to see what Christina and her family have in store for us.
"I think what they'll be most excited to see is just a different side of me." Christina explains that, "normal things that you would do when you don't have cameras around, we did it while the cameras were around." One of her goals for the show is for her fans to be able to feel like they can relate their lives to the various situations she finds herself in but she admits, "If not, they can just have fun laughing at us."
So what does "turned up" actually mean? Christina broke it down for us.
"My definition of turned up is just taking life to the next level and that's in every aspect of the way. You know if you're going to party, you have the best time of your life. If you're going to work, you know, be the best at your job and be a boss about it. I think its just really living life to the fullest. Literally turn it up, take it to the next level."
Christina is a singer and an actress with an amazing sense of style! So what is the must-have item to have in your closet in 2015, ladies?
"I think it's a necessity to have like a great pair of jogger pants that you can kind of like wear to bed, and then you wake up and you don't even take a shower and you leave the house in the same pair of sweatpants." She continued, "You start your day off, you take a shower, and then you put on your jogger pants." As far as beauty, Christina believes the most important aspect of your beauty routine is to have your lashes on and concealer. She believes it's important to hide the "imperfections." You're perfect girl.
"I have a new song and it's called ‘Rebel', and you know the concept is really just a guy and girl with extreme chemistry that just like no matter what they do together, it's almost like they're against the world." Hmm…could that be based on real-life experiences? She continued, "It's like this rebellion of like not really caring about what anybody else thinks, if they don't get it and they're not on board it doesn't matter because it's just those two."
And last but certainly not least Christina dished on her adorable daughter, Violet Nash. "I'm really happy I was able to have her on the show with me because you know, obviously I was working and so it was great to have her around with me while I was working." She added, "She is a little superstar, she's a rock star. She loves to sing! She likes to get on the microphone and start singing on the microphone. I wouldn't doubt she would do it some day." Aw! We can hardly wait to see Christina, Violet and the rest of the Milian family starting this Sunday!
