Demi Lovato stopped by E!'s Chelsea Lately Thursday, where she dished on hiring her former Camp Rock costar Nick Jonas as her Neon Lights tour's musical and creative director.
"You dated one of the Jonas Brothers, right?" host Chelsea Handler asked the 21-year-old pop star.
"I did," Lovato replied, informing the comedienne that she romanced Joe Jonas several years ago.
"Which one's the cute one?" Handler asked her guest. Lovato paused for a moment before giving the funnylady a diplomatic (and adorable) answer: "They have a new niece, and she's really, really cute," the "Made in the USA" singer said of Kevin Jonas' newborn daughter, Alena Rose.
"Great answer," Handler said.
"Great question!" Lovato laughed.
The pink-haired star was then asked what it's like to work with her ex-boyfriend's younger brother. "We dated for like a month," Lovato explained. "Everyone made it seem like it was this big, big deal."
