Just because she starred in Showgirls doesn't mean Elizabeth Berkley has an easy time hoofing it on Dancing With the Stars.

Swinging by Chelsea Lately on Thursday, Nov. 7, the 41-year-old actress talked about getting back in touch with her dancing abilities after becoming a mom this past year as well as the difficulties of dancing in heels.

"I mean, I used to dance as a kid, and of course, I did a little movie where I danced," Berkley told Chelsea Handler after the latter suggested she's a good dancer. "But it's been a long time and I'm a new mom and I have not danced in forever. So this is all like reconnecting with something from childhood. "

Quipped the funny lady, "Yeah, I don't know how you guys do it. I can't even stand up…I mean I don't even know how you guys do it in those heels."

The blond beauty elaborated: "You know what? I practice in flats and then the other half of the rehearsal is in heels so I get used to the pitch forward. But I have a good partner [in Val Chmerkovskiy]. He's solid."

Berkley and Handler also talked about her fellow contestant, Leah Remini, who's a good friend of both; she worked for one season with the latter on Saved By the Bell. And of course, Handler couldn't resist poking fun at Remini shedding so many pounds on the dance competition.

"Do you see how sexy [she is]?" asked Berkley.

"I'm like, 'you can't get voted off. No offense. I need her to keep going on that show," joked the host. "I want her to make it to the end so she can really lose that weight."
