Supposedly the couple held an "intimate party" at a London hotel to celebrate their hush-hush engagement. It's no secret that Chelsea Lately enjoys making fun of Kate Hudson, but in this case I'm not sure I'm picking up what The Sun is putting down. Kate Hudson is anything but discreet. She has been trying to get someone to marry her since her last marriage ended. She's so excited to get into a wedding dress that if there was one up for grabs she'd beat Jessica Simpson in a wrestling match for it. If Kate Hudson was engaged, we'd know about it. Unless, of course, she is just being old-fashioned and wanted to make sure every one knew that she was pregnant first.
