The couple announced their engagement last week and according to PopEater, the news was a "huge surprise" to every one except Jessica Simpson, who always knew that it was coming. Those two have been dating for like 10 years, so if PopEater says that Jessica was the only one who thought they might get married, then PopEater is calling the rest of us stupid. I guess I'm happy for Nick and Vanessa; I really don't care. The person that I'm most concerned about in this situation is Jessica Simpson's new boyfriend. Anybody who is awake knows that Jessica Simpson is on a mission to find a new husband. The only way that poor guy is going to get out of marrying her now is to take a boat ride with Olivia Newton-John's ex lover.
