Minka Kelly was recently named Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive. I'm a big fan of the show Friday Night Lights, so I was already a fan of Minka's. I became a bigger fan when I read the interview she gave to Esquire regarding what it was like for her growing up. Her mother was a stripper. Instead of having a mom with that lifestyle lead her down the route that some of the girls from 16 and Pregnant took; Minka was able to see the tip jar half full. She said that her mother would come home at 3 or 4 in the morning, wake her up and take her grocery shopping. She said that they would "have a blast and buy a hundred dollars in groceries," which I assume they paid for in ones. Even though to some it might sound like a tough thing to deal with, she was never embarrassed by her mother. Of course with that sleeping schedule, she was probably too wiped out to care.
