As if we needed any more proof that Will Smith is really just a big kid at heart.

To mark a quarter-century of sliming celebs, Nickelodeon brought in the big guns and announced this morning that the 10-time orange blimp recipient has been tapped to host the cable net's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards.

"The Kids' Choice Awards are always the year's liveliest, slimiest and most outrageous party for kids and teens," the future emcee said. "I'm honored they wanted me to host this year, so I can have a front-row seat to take part in the fun."

The choice of Smith gives parents a little added incentive to watch. And as for kids?

Well, executive producer Marjorie Cohn's promise that this year will be "the biggest, loudest, messiest spectacle" ever should take care of them.

As for Smith, he's no stranger to the awards—nestled among his 10 prizes are the Hall of Fame Award, which he took home in 1997, and the all-important Wannabe Award (as in, the kids wanna be him) in 2003.

The orange blimp-dispensing awards show takes place March 31.
