It's official.

As I told you last week, Chris Brown will be performing at the Grammys on Sunday.

But even we didn't expect to hear this...

Brown could be performing a medley of three of his songs. He's most likely to hit the stage closer to the start of the show.

"This is big for him," a source said. "He's rehearsing now and he knows how important this is for him."

And that's not all Mr. Brown has planned for his return to the music industry's biggest night.

He'll join deadmau5, Foo Fighters, David Guetta and Lil Wayne for a first-time tribute to dance/electronica music.

Previously announced performers include Brown's ex Rihanna with Coldplay, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney and The Band Perry, among many others.

No word yet if Brown will be attending Clive Davis and the Recording Academy's legendary pre-Grammy gala on Saturday.
