Sure, Brad Pitt may be at the Cannes Film Festival right now promoting his new movie Killing Them Softly, but, not surprisingly, it's his personal life that folks are really focused on.
Namely, his engagement and eventual marriage to fiancée Angelina Jolie.
"We truly have no date. We actually, really, truly have no date," Pitt told reporters at a press conference on Tuesday. "We're still hoping we figure out marriage equality in the States before then," adding that the couple's engagement was "something that made sense."
And of course, it didn't go unnoticed that the 48-year-old actor was flying solo sans his significant other.
"She's prepping for a movie," he explained.
Speaking of movies, Pitt, who costarred with Jolie in 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith, also said he would "love to" eventually team up again with Jolie on the silver screen.
Fingers crossed.
