TUESDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS
Dirt: Every week, this show gets worse and, somehow at the same time, so much better! Last Tuesday, the shameless outing of Jack Dawson was delicious, only to be topped by this week’s cover scandal: the making of a small-town murder into a salacious media storm. So good! Plus Holt and Lucy? Really hot, especially considering how he despised her just weeks ago. My only complaint? The staff of Dirt Now has to stop laughing at Lucy’s lame jokes in the pitch room. She’s not funny, you guys. You really shouldn’t encourage her.
Gilmore Girls: Emily berating the hospital staff, interrogating doctors on their education, chastising nurses for choosing the wrong career, complaining about eyeliner and incompetence, babbling on about salmon and sea scallops, cell phone bans and obnoxiously loud club members! It may sound like regular old Gilmore gab, but when it’s Kelly Bishop, there’s just something better about it. As my favorite Gilmore gal, she has earned far more screen time than she’s awarded, and it’s really a shame. Can we do something about this?
Veronica Mars: I’m taking a poll. If you were Veronica, could you forgive Logan for his sexual indiscretion? I mean, they were on a break! But bedding her mortal enemy? It’s just too much, don't you think? And quick sidebar: When Logan left Veronica that apology voicemail, why was he impersonating Cameron Frye impersonating Sloan’s father in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off? Anyone?
House: The good and bad of House in a wheelchair? Makes it harder for him to stare down Cuddy’s shirt. But his vantage point on her ass? Much improved. Um, how does Hugh Laurie manage to make being in a wheelchair hot? Hmmm, can someone answer me that? The man was killing me in that T-shirt and jeans last night. So sexy. Let’s discuss.
