Sarah Palin is generating a lot of buzz and if you believe that any press is good press, she must be doing something right. You can’t turn a corner without seeing Sarah Palin smiling on the cover of celebrity gossip magazines, and not everyone is a fan. More than a few Hollywood stars have some choice words for the Vice Presidential nominee. Keep reading to find out how stars like Lindsay Lohan, Matt Damon and Pamela Anderson really feel about Sarah Palin.
Lindsay Lohan is happy with girlfriend Samantha Ronson but not happy about Sarah Palin and her stand on issues including Gay rights. "Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?… Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?"
Pamela Anderson who became an American citizen so she can vote in the U.S made it pretty clear she would not be voting for Sarah Palin in the coming election when she had this to say about her in a recent interview, “I can’t stand her. She can suck it!”
Is there a new script in the works for Matt Damon or is it just more Palin bashing? "It's like a really bad Disney movie. The hockey mom, you know, ''Oh, I'm just a hockey mom''... and she's facing down (Russian) President Putin... It's totally absurd... It's a really terrifying possibility," he added.
“If I were writing a letter to Sarah Palin, it would be a lot of whys and hows. Who are you? Do you know? Why do you hate animals? Please point out Iraq on a map…This woman hates women. She is not a feminist. She is not the woman that’s going to come behind Hillary Clinton and do anything that Hillary Clinton would’ve been capable of … The woman terrifies me.”
Saturday Night Live alum Chevy Chase would have liked Tina Fey to go a bit further with her portrayal of Sarah Palin saying, "I want her (Tina Fey) to decimate this woman. This woman is, I can't believe there hasn't been more about it. ... It's just unbelievable to me this woman is actually running for vice president," he continued.
Comedian Margaret Cho can't find the humour when talking about Sarah Palin. "At first I thought Sarah Palin was some kind of Republican pandering – a misguided attempt to woo Hillary voters over to the dark side, as if they believed women voters were so stupid that they would vote for anyone in skirt, but now I see that she is much, much worse".
Meg Ryan keeps the gloves on yet still gets in a jab at Sarah Palin in a recent interview. “I guess we have to root for her in that her son just went off to Iraq, that’s gotta be really, really tough. But she doesn’t represent my politics at all.”
Alec Baldwin let's us know that any similarities beween Sarah Palin and his 30 Rock co-star begin and end with appearances. "Palin is Bush." "Palin looks a lot like a really attractive TV star I know. Underneath all the Tina, she's George."
Jada who says she'll be voting for Michelle Obama had this to say about Sarah Palin, “It's nice to see women in America are being extremely vocal about politics this year. But her being a woman hasn't made me sway to that side. Not one bit.”
