Producer Salaam Remi was introduced to Winehouse early in her career. Frank, her debut album released in October 2003, was mainly produced by Remi. Her follow-up album, Back to Black, was produced by Remi and Mark Ronson and featured what would become her signature single, "Rehab." Sadly, that same year, Winehouse's grandmother died. Family members have said they believe the death is what triggered her drug addiction.
