1950s actress Grace Kelly was seen as Hollywood's princess with her award-winning performances and elegance on screen. Then, she became true royalty when she wed Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956. The marriage was dubbed the wedding of the century. Kelly's gown was sewn by 36 seamstresses and was decorated with over 800,000 sequins and 1,500 rhinestones and pearls. The Prince went so far as to create a perfume in honor of his wife, plus put a 12-carat emerald-cut diamond on her finger. Even though the total cost of the wedding is unknown, its safe to say the union of these two was priceless.
