Isn't it wonderful to hear Cat Deeley say his name? Besides being simply adorable, the 19-year-old Juilliard student survived both a bloody elbowing and an Adam Shankman sobfest during auditions.
UPDATE: Billy left the competition due to illness and was replaced by Bay Area hip-hop dancer Brandon Dumlao, 21.
Brandon subbed in for Billy Bell at the last minute after Bell became ill and dropped out just before the beginning of the Top 20 competition.
Massachusetts' most famous ice cream scooper/contemporary dancer just turned 18—the minimum age requirement to compete on SYTYCD—and made it to the Top 20 with a unanimous vote by the judges.

The emotional 19-year-old Georgia transplant has a high-pitched squeaky voice when she cries. And she cried a lot during the auditions. Maybe the Top 20 will teach her to shut up and dance?

The judges love the 23-year-old Boston hip-hopper's "brilliant" technique. And we love K'Bez's cute cornrows.
The soft-spoken 28-year-old B-boy didn't start dancing until he was 15 and has no formal training. Even though Mia Michaels described his talent as "stupid" (aka awesome), none of his audition performances were stellar. Who knows? Maybe his signature "backhanded little sort of duckwalk" (per Nigel) will find its way into a cha-cha.

The bubbly 18-year-old will have to overcome her "childish" behavior dancing to move forward in the competition. And this bestie business with Noelle has got to stop.
The 18-year-old SoCal contemporary dancer had a headstart over his competitors: Too young to compete but impressing judges during last season's auditions, Nigel gave him an advance ticket to Vegas tryouts.

Mollee's 18-year-old BFF also made it to the finals. Whew! Not sure their friendship could have survived otherwise.
Spraining her ankle during auditions didn't stop the 19-year-old jazz specialist from dancing her way into the Top 20.

Anyone else think the 22-year-old tap dancer is a doppelgänger for last season's Tony Bellissimo? As one of three tappers, Peter will need to show greater range to make it further than his week-one-ousted season-five look-alike.
The composed 25-year-old, one of this season's trio of tap dancers, was also a roommate of always-a-bridesmaid Ryan Kasprzak (Evan's bro) in a production of the musical Fosse.
