Meet Tristan Bellisimo, a photo-taking guru who brings a unique element to his photography--whether it's an angle, aperture, or attitude--his work stands out.
As Tristan got ready for his interview, the production team made sure he was let perfectly.
Then, as he was in the midst of the VW shoot, producers made sure that they had the perfect shot of him situated in front of the classic, hot VW ride.
After Tristan wrapped up his interview, he prepped his cameras for the shoot. The former street photographer told us his mantra is "shoot it, show it, and shut up!." And that he did.
Tristan couldn't help but take a peek under the hood of his bangin' blue car for the shoot, before he hopped inside and took it for a spin.
Ten years ago, the noted photographer was just getting his start in street photography. Now, he's breaking into event photography, shooting his first major red carpet at the 2014 Grammys.
There were several models on hand at the VW shoot, ready to strike a pose on a moment's notice. When it comes to striking poses, Tristan also recommends clients to take a look at their eyes. "Which one of your eyes is bigger?, he said. "Pose with that one further from the camera. (Everyone has a bigger eye, he insisted. Yes, even you.)
Tristan looked pretty relaxed in the front seat of the VW ride. Speaking of relaxed, Tristan recommends that his photo subjects also "just relax," adding, "don't tense up. That's what makes your face/expression look fake!"
Check out this awesome shot of Tristan's ride for a day--this sparkling blue VW retro car. It kind of screams old Hollywood glam, right?
When it comes to tips for posing on the red carpet, Tristan recommends sticking your forehead out and not your chin.
