Glee Creator Ryan Murphy has revealed that his plan for the very end of the series included Finn (Cory Monteith) and Rachel (Lea Michele). "I knew what the last shot was, he was in it. I knew what the last line was, she said it to him."

Finn would do anything to make Rachel smile, like mispronouncing a word on purpose. Pretty cute.
Through all their ups and downs, Finn and Rachel always tried to speak the truth to one another, even if it hurt.
We all know that Rachel can have her diva moments, but Finn knew exactly what to say to calm her down. He helped to soften her and make her more likeable.
From stolen kisses in the choir room, to hugs in the hallways, Finn and Rachel were pretty cute together with their just-right PDA.
"My home isn't someplace. It's someone. It's you."—Rachel to Finn
Finn and Rachel's break-ups always lead to make-ups, sometimes it just took a little bit longer.
Undeniable.
Rachel has always had big Broadway dreams, and Finn believed in her enough to put her needs in front of their relationship. How can any Finn and Rachel fan ever forget that train scene at the end of season three, where he suprised her and took her to the station and sent her on her way to NYC? We're still crying.
Whether it was becoming an actor, enrolling in the Army, or earning his teaching degree, Rachel always believed that Finn sold himself short and could achieve greatness.
"Relationships are a lot like flowers. If you find the right seed, put it in good soil, give it water and sunlight, bam. Perfect bud. And then comes winter and the flower dies. But if you tend that garden, spring will come along and that flower will bloom again."—Finn
According to Rachel, here was the plan: "I was gonna make it big on Broadway and maybe make a Woody Allen movie. And then when we were ready, I would just, come back and he'd be teaching here and I'd walk through those doors and I would just say 'I'm home.' And then we would live happily ever after."
