Sheen in Mexico

TMZ reported that Charlie Sheen took his estranged wife Brooke Mueller to a nice Mexican getaway as a sort of "birthday/you're doing great in rehab" present. Sheen told TMZ that Brooke is "more sober and healthy than I've ever seen her." "More sober" doesn't really sound the same as "completely sober" to me, but it does have a nice ring to it. Their twins are reportedly not with them, so I assume his super-ex Denise Richards is taking care of them and probably mowing Charlie's lawn while she's at it. Just as Mexico was a great place for Brooke to consider going to rehab, it's an equally great place to celebrate finishing a two- or three-week stint. It's really known for its lack of alcohol and drugs. Charlie also said that he's proud of Brooke for "busting her ass with the boys." Translation: She just figured out that she's a mom and should start acting like it. Although rumors are swirling, the couple do not appear to be reconciling, although who knows what the future holds. When Brooke spends a lot of time with Charlie, she tends to get all choked up.
