Zooey Deschanel Sings the National Anthem at the World Series: How'd She Do?

Who's that girl singing the national anthem?
It's Zooey Deschanel!
The New Girl star sang the "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Game 4 of the 2011 World Series on Sunday night while rocking a super cute red, white and blue minidress. Didn't know Deschanel could belt a tune? Check out her performance after the jump....

Deschanel, of course, can sing. She's part of a fantastic indie pop duo called She & Him, sang wonderfully in Elf and has even crooned in commercials. And unlike American Idol winner Scotty McCreery, who came under fire for possibly flubbing the lines during Game 1 of the World Series, the actress-singer nailed every word. Way to go, Zooey!
Plus, no pressure: The next person on deck was former President George W. Bush, who was there to throw out the first pitch to pitching legend Nolan Ryan. (Again, no pressure.)
The next singer set to perform the song during Game 5? Demi Lovato! "Only my lovatics could land me a spot singing the national anthem at the WORLD SERIES!!!!" she tweeted on Friday. "I couldn't do it without you guys!!!!"
