Zack Morris Plays Nice: Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ex Keep Divorce Kid-Friendly

While former Saved by the Bell star Mark-Paul Gosselaar's marriage couldn't be, er, saved, this bit of news certainly has a nice ring to it.
It seems the actor's soon-to-be ex, Lisa Ann Russell, is seeking joint custody of the two young children the pair had together, per court papers filed April 1. And this is no April Fool's joke.
The request is similar to the one Gosselaar himself put in when the actor filed for divorce last June after the couple separated following nearly 14 years of marriage.
Russell has also asked for spousal support, which shouldn't be a problem since Gosselar already offered to provide it, along with child support, in his initial petition as well.
With all this cordialness, it's a wonder these two ever broke up in the first place!
