Zach Galifianakis: Mel, No; Muppets, Yes!
Great onscreen partnerships are hard to find. Which is why Zach Galifianakis has wisely opted to parlay his tour de force performance from this summer, in which he dramatically bore witness to a staring contest between Animal and OK GO, into a big screen venture.
That's right, Mel Gibson's least favorite person has joined the cast of the upcoming and untitled Muppets movie, joining the likes of Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Rashida Jones and Chris Cooper, which starts shooting next month.
Not that Galifianakis (or, we're guessing, the studio) was ready to break that casting news just yet. But that's what you get when you sit next to Robert Downey Jr. at a junket all day.
Sometimes, partnerships are even greater off-screen than on.
