Imagine: Prince William and Kate Middleton cozied up inside a carriage, making their way through the winding streets of London's Westminster with all eyes on them and the royal family in tow...stop us if this starts sounding familiar.

Yes, the royal lovebirds are all set to recreate almost step for step the city-traversing procession that culminated in their royal wedding last April, but it's not for the reason you may think.

So what gives?

Last year, they did it for love. This year, it's queen and country that has them honor-bound.

Will and Kate—and Prince Harry, Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, and other assorted royal family hangers-on—will be embarking on an all-too-familiar carriage-ride procession through London on June 5 to greet the crowds of well-wishers that line the route to Buckingham Palace in honor of (what else?) the queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Once they arrive at the palace, proceedings will strike a familiar note, with the senior royals once again taking to the balcony of the formidable estate, where they'll be treated to a Royal Air Force fly-by.

They will then be joined by some 700 guests, including representatives from charities, schools and other organizations around the country.

All in all, it's shaping up to be an action-packed weekend for the royal family and their Diamond Jubilee celebrations, which will include a Jubilee concert to be held on June 4 in front of Buckingham Palace. Paul McCartney, Elton John, Tom Jones, Jessie J and Shirley Bassey are all scheduled to perform.
