Why Is Jamie Lee Curtis Going Green? "We're Melting!"

Jamie Lee Curtis has a good reason for being environmentally conscious.
"We're melting!" says the actress about why she thinks it's important to go green.
And she's putting her money where her mouth is.

"We solar-paneled our house," she said. "My husband [Christopher Guest] drives an electric car. He used to have the hydrogen fuel cell car until they took it away. He now drives the Volt. We do our bit. We're not maniac people, because it's all about trying to find a balance in life. But we certainly do our share."
Another star who's doing their share by driving a hybrid car? Jason Ritter, who's had one since 2003.
"I always conserve," he says. "I grew up with a compost pile at home. We always turn the water off...I recycle. I turn off the lights when I leave a room."
