New Movie Poll! Road Trip or Evil Genius or James Franco?

For Colored Girls, 127 Hours, Due Date, Megamind Quantrell Colbert/Lionsgate; Fox Searchlight; Melinda Sue Gordon/Warner Bros. Entertainment; DreamWorks

The last few weeks with Saw 3D and Jackass 3D have been fun, but this weekend serious star power is back in theaters. So who are you going to check out?

First up is the highly anticipated road-trip comedy Due Date with Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis and Jamie Foxx. But just because something's super-hyped doesn't mean it's your thing, right?

Also hitting theaters, in limited release, is the James Franco mountaineering drama 127 Hours (Mild Spoiler Alert! It's not for the faint of heart.) Another drama opening is Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls, starring Janet Jackson and Whoopi Goldberg.

Or maybe you want to make it a family weekend? In that case, bring the kids along and check out the animated feature Megamind with Brad Pitt, Tina Fey and Will Ferrell.

Take our poll now and remember to tune into E! News at 7 p.m. to see Ben Lyons talk about the must-see movie of the week on E! Ticket.

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Today was quite a momentous day on The View. It was the day Barbara Walters stopped trying to hide her indifference (or just plain confusion) toward the guests, Whoopi Goldberg lost all remnants of her sense of humor, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck asked a relevant question.

So what brought all this craziness about? Why, Stephen Colbert, of course. If you're gonna mess with the Papa Bear, you'd better be ready to face the cub.

Joy Behar, Bill O'Reilly Can't Stop Trading Insults Over View Walk-Off

Cooler heads prevailed. For a couple hours. Then it was back to good old-fashioned overheating for Joy Behar and Bill O'Reilly.

"He's an idiot," Behar said after she and Whoopi Goldberg stormed off The View. "I just couldn't sit there any longer and listen to him."

But she didn't seem to have any problem talking about him—and he, her—on their respective solo prime-time shows. Ready for round two?

Whoopi and Joy Throw Down, Storm Out on View Thanks to Bill O'Reilly

Our only question: which is the patriot and which is the pinhead?

Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg both stormed off the set of The View this morning, when a chat with Bill O'Reilly did what chats with Bill O'Reilly tend to do.

Get very heated, very polarizing and very entertaining…in a TV trainwreck kind of way.

What about Jennifer Aniston's career trajectory reminds you of Barbra Streisand?

Anyway, nevermind about that, it's just that the seemingly disaparate duo made headlines together this week, as did Whoopi Goldberg for tongue-lashing—but not bitch-slapping—Michaele Salahi, and Lindsay Lohan, sheerly for leaving jail exactly when expected.

Happily this week was also a coming-out party of sorts for a betrothed couple who had to play dumb for the last four months, but in reality were just dying to share their infectious cuteness with the world...

Whoopi Goldberg's View: She Didn't Smack a D.C. Housewife

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Who believes that Whoopi Goldberg got a little rough with Michaele Salahi today?

The View is up in arms over the Real Housewives of D.C. matron's claim that Goldberg hit her during the show, calling Salahi's accusation "completely unfounded and erroneous." (Which is funny, because it looked as if all of her castmates really were raring to hit her throughout their appearance.)

Sure, they ended up in a "heated exchange backstage, "show rep Karl Nilsson said, but that's only because Goldberg was forced to adamantly defend herself.

The View Opens Up a Can of Whoopi-Ass

More from The Soup

The View welcomed Radar Online executive vice president David Perel this morning. Well, welcomed may be a bit too strong. Perhaps "refrained from punching" would be more appropriate, at least as far as Whoopi is concerned. She clearly disagreed with David when the issue came up of whether or not Radar Online went to the police with the Mel Gibson tapes.
