After having a pretty solid first season, The Talk will be returning for another round of womenly chatter with a minor change.

Two faces might be missing from the table during the second season.

So who will and who won't be coming back?

According to Deadline, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Julie Chen are on board for next season, but the options of Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete have not been picked up and the two are not expected to return for the show's season-two premiere on Sept. 6.

The Talk's production team reportedly hasn't made a decision about whether or not they should bring in new cohosts and doesn't have any leads on who the replacements would be.

CBS doesn't appear to be panicking.

"The Talk just finished a strong first season, quickly establishing a new daytime brand for CBS in just a few months," the network said in a statement. "The producers are currently working on the show's creative game plan for season two, which launches on Tuesday, Sept. 6."

A source close to CBS, meanwhile, tells E! News that a New York Post item citing Chen as the cause of discord on the set completely missed the mark.

"There are so many factual errors and distortions," the insider said. "It's hard to imagine how they fit it all into one short piece."
