Looks like a place straight out of a movie, doesn't it?
Maybe that's what one Academy Award winner was thinking when she bought the four-bedroom, three-bath, farmhouse in the New England town back in 2004 to fix up and use as a 39-acre weekend retreat to host family and friends. However, the star's current work schedule and travel commitments do not allow her to visit the property as frequently as she would like.
And now the actress is ready to make her Connecticut digs a home for someone else. All you have to do is pony up $1.5 million and it can be yours!

A cozy closeness with the Quinebaug River, for one thing. As well, the place is surrounded by lush gardens, fields, and woods. Among the features are: a main residence offering more than 3,400 square-feet of living space, a guest cottage, recreation barn, swimming pool and helicopter landing area.
Real estate agent Jonathan P. Radford told E! News, "This property will appeal to a variety of buyers: Those searching for a weekend retreat; people who can work from home who would make this a full-time residence; those seeking tranquility, such as a writer or artist. The common denominator to these buyers will be that they seek a discrete home in a naturally beautiful environment. The property is 150 miles from New York and 70 miles from Boston, a helicopter landing area makes it a short commute from most locations."
