Which Law & Order Star Is Threatening to Quit Acting?

Our favorite television crimefighter says it could be time to leave the business.
And it's all because of…Jennifer Love Hewitt!
Let me explain…
Back in September, Hewitt guest starred on Law & Order: SVU as a rape victim. Even if you're not a fan of JLove, I promise she absolutely brought it. Not only is it her best performance ever, but one of the most powerful ever seen on SVU.
In other words, the former Party of Five teen queen better be nominated for an Emmy. "She has to," Mariska Hargitay told me at the SAG Awards. "It's a no-brainer. I will have to quit the business if she doesn't get it. She was absolutely spectacular."
Until then, Hargitay has the rest of the season to think about. Debra Messing recently shot an upcoming episode. "She plays a To Catch a Predator kind of journalist," Hargitay revealed. "She's someone who is trying to catch predators for a very personal reason and interferes with an investigation."
And Hargitay is hoping to nab a certain Oscar winner for SVU. "I just saw Kevin Kline the other day," she said. "I've got my designs on Kevin Kline."
To play a creepy killer? "Aren't they all a little creepy?" Hargitay laughed. "I love my little creepy people."
