Can you really put a price on paradise?

This sprawling ranch on 418 acres in southwest Montana's Paradise Valley that both grizzly character actor Warren Oates and grit-tastic director Sam Peckinpah owned a piece of over the years is on the market for a whopping $14 million.

Talk about your classic compounds!

But the current owner, an actor on the big screen right this minute who actually got married here, is ready to pass the property into new hands. Who's going to have to find a new riding and fishing spot for his three kids?

Hey, sometimes you just gotta cut loose.

Dennis Quaid, who plays the tormented pastor with a daughter who's itching to dance in the remake of Footloose, is the wide-open-spaces-loving actor unloading the place, which has been featured in Architectural Digest.

Per Realtor.com, the 5,315-square-foot main house provides plenty of room to roam (for people and animals!) all on its own with its three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a great room with a massive stone double fireplace that's also shared by the kitchen, high-beamed ceilings and hardwood floors.

And then, there are the great outdoors.

Aside from the tack room and stable, where Quaid has kept his own horses, there are riding trails, four guest homes, a ranch manager's office, two ponds and two miles of prime fishing frontage along Six Mile Creek.

Quaid and his third wife, Kimberly, tied the knot on the ranch in 2004. They have twins who will be 4 next month, and Quaid is also dad to 19-year-old Jack, his son with Meg Ryan.
