As devoted Brangelina worshippers, we are very sad to see that Angie signed on for an assassin movie without her partner in crime.
In Wanted (previewed above), she's all Mrs. Smithed out—smoky eyes, Matrix moves, gunplay and chilly authority intact—and she even has an Adam Brody type in tow! But in not one frame of the Wanted trailer do we see anything resembling a Mr. Smith in the form of Brad Pitt.
Can you even do that? Sign on for a ripoff of your own franchise, and do it on the cheap? Next thing you know, Matt Damon will be doing Encyclopedia Brown movies, as a convenient step down from the wearying work of being Jason Bourne!
Stop the madness, Angie, or at least give us what we really want: Mr. & Mrs. Smith Fight More Bad Guys, This Time with Their Adorable Toddlers in Tow. Feel free to select from among your own adorable offspring for the Smith babies!
