Weeds: Who's the Next to Die?

Mary-Louise Parker, Weeds Sonja Flemming/Showtime

Within the first three episodes, we learned that Esteban (Demián Bichir) isn't going to be putting Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker) in her grave anytime soon. But that doesn't mean there isn't major trouble ahead for Nancy.

DEA Captain Roy Till (Jack Stehlin) returns, killing off one of our favorite new characters (R.I.P. Su-Su-Sucio) and kicking off a revenge mission to hunt down anyone who might have been involved in the torture and murder of his lover, Agent Phil Schlatter (Andrew Rothenberg).

However, in his attempts to get justice, it may be Roy Till who ends up six feet under. So who's on his hit list? We caught up with Stehlin and asked him just that. Find out what he reveals...

Jack Stehlin, Weeds Showtime

When Roy comes out of the shadows, one of his first pieces of business is to "confront Nancy," he says. His reason for tracking Nancy down? She's the center piece of the drug cartel, being pregnant with Esteban's baby, and they killed Till's lover. Bottom line: Don't mess with a scorned D.E.A. agent.

"Till's perspective is that he doesn't know who it is, but it's very likely that Nancy is involved," he tells us. "He suspects Nancy deeply. He's sure that there's Mexican cartel involved, and he's convinced that she knows who they are. Till will do anything at this point. I think he really is off the edge. I think his heart was broken, and he's in a fury. Also, the kind of man he is and the life he lives, it's a dangerous world. He's capable of violence."

And don't think Nancy being pregnant will stop Till from trying to take her down. Truth be told, he doesn't actually know she has a bun in the oven. "He may come to find out, but from where the plot was at the end of the last season and the beginning of this season, he has no idea that she's pregnant," he says.

So who's in danger? Teases Stehlin, "I think it's possible he could go after anyone. I think he has some kind of grip that Nancy is the most involved with the dangerous part of it. He's not playing the good lawman anymore. It's past that. It's true revenge and really knowing that these are the people who are responsible."

But don't worry, there won't be any kidnapping of the Botwins coming up: "My feeling is that he knows that [Andy] and the sons and [Doug] are on a different level of harmlessness."

While Stehlin tells us to expect more deaths this season, we have a sneaking suspicion that he may be next to meet his maker. Says Stehlin, "He's living in a dangerous world. I think anybody living in that world—well, anything can happen. I don't think anything can slow him down. Something's going to happen. In the end, doesn't everyone have to die except the family? How long can Till last? How long can Esteban last before it breaks?"
