Quantrell D. Colbert/The CWDon't expect The Vampire Diaries to dance around the issue of Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline's (Candice Accola) burgeoning chemistry.
Well, actually. You can expect them to do exactly that in the CW hit's Feb. 9 episode, which features the gang dressed to the nines and attending a ball. The network just released some photos from the sure-to-be-epic episode that also may include Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) making a move on Elena (Nina Dobrev).
So what did Accola have to spill on the ball? And what's going down between Elena and the Salvatore brothers?
When we asked Ms. Accola what upcoming episode she was excited for fans to see, she immediately said the ball.
"I'm really excited there's an episode where there's a ball. Everyone got to get all dressed up," she says. "We took ball dancing lessons. It was really fun. I'm excited for people to see that episode for many more reasons besides the fact that we got to get dressed up, but I don't want to give those reasons away. I'm just going to say because we got all dressed up, which is code for a lot of s--t goes down."
"Klaroline" fans will be happy to see that Caroline appears to be wearing the bracelet Klaus gave her for her 18th birthday in the above photo. Could Caroline be harboring some secret feelings for the OG hybrid? If that wasn't enough, the episode description includes "Caroline discovers a side of Klaus no one would have suspected."
Ain't no party like a Mystic Falls party, are we right? It seems like Stefan will be making a play for his ex-girlfriend Elena as their sizzling chemistry is put on display in this photo of the former couple dancing.
Yeah, we think shippers are going to have a field day with this episode.
