Oh, that Ashton Kutcher. He's a smooth operator.

We imagine it's hard to be the new guy coming onto an establish sitcom like Two and a Half Men, going into its ninth season. We also imagine bringing a massage therapist with you is a pretty great way to win over your costars, which is exactly what Kutcher did during his second week on the new job. Jon Cryer called it "a lovely gesture" that "cut the tension quite nicely."

So, was setting newbie Ashton on fire also a way to cut the tension?!

OK, so he really wasn't set on fire, but Kutcher, Cryer and Angus T. Jones did get a kick out of milking the fake story for some laughs. "We weren't even filming!" Angus said. "It was just for fun." Ashton joked, "I was so happy I wasn't wearing a nylon or polyester fabric at the time."

Ashton revealed that his decision to join the CBS show was a no-brainer. "I said if they offered me that job, I'd take it in a second."

So how did it feel to film in front of a live studio audience again? And how has the audience been responding to Men's new man? Watch the video below (which may or may not include an audience member crying over Ashton) to find out!

The new season of Two and a Half Men premieres Monday at 9 p.m. on CBS.
