The question we get asked most on Twitter (besides "Why are you all so pretty?") is regarding Dr. Robert Chase on House. Jesse Spencer's fate had never been officially touched on by the actors or powers-that-be over at Fox's hit show, so fans were constantly wondering if Chase would back inside the halls of Princeton-Plainsboro at all next season.

Thankfully, we got confirmation from a pretty solid source about his season eight return. Plus, we've got updates on Rookie Blue, The Vampire Diaries, and more…

Jesse announced the good news himself on—where else?—Twitter. Yesterday, he tweeted surfing safety tips (seriously), and told us: "I'm coming back for season eight with a tan and a busted board." We don't care how you're coming back, Jesse, as long as Dr. Chase will be around to piss House off his with accent.

Rookie Blue: ABC just announced that Rookie Blue, one of our favorite shows about young good-looking cops, has officially been renewed for a third season. Filming will begin later this summer.

The Vampire Diaries: TVLine.com is reporting that David Gallagher (of 7th Heaven fame) has been cast as Ray Sutton, a werewolf who has a pleasant and non-violent run-in with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in the beginning of the season. Kidding, it'll probably be brutal. Bring on the bloodshed! Also, EW.com talked to Kevin Williamson, who says the relationship between Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) is "building to be a fun, romantic Romeo and Juliet." We all remember how Romeo and Juliet ended up, yes? Just checking.

The Walking Dead: Take the season four premiere of Breaking Bad, add a season two trailer for The Walking Dead, and you've got a magnificent AMC present all wrapped up in one hour. Translation: The first trailer for season two of The Walking Dead will pop up on Sunday during the Breaking Bad premiere on AMC.

Desperate Housewives: TVGuide.com is reporting that the fate of the ladies at Wisteria Lane will be decided within the next couple weeks. Meaning, fans are going to get official word on whether or not this season will be the last. Do you think DH should end after this season?

America: The U.S. Women's soccer team just beat France 3–1 to advance to the World Cup finals. Congrats, ladies! U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
