To borrow a line from The O.C.: Welcome to the coven, bitch! Don't worry, we won't punch you in the face.

The highly anticipated teen drama series The Secret Circle finally premiered on the CW, following the season premiere of The Vampire Diaries. Both shows, from executive producer Kevin Williamson, are based on book series by L.J. Smith and center on attractive people with supernatural abilities. Sounds like the perfect formula to achieve a fan-favorite genre series!

We've already shared our thoughts on the pilot, now it's your turn...

You've finally met the circle, which includes Cassie (Britt Robertson), the new witch in town; Adam (Thomas Dekker), who feels an instant attraction to Cassie despite being in a relationship with coven leader Diana (Shelley Hennig); Faye (Phoebe Tonkin), the resident bad girl; Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy), Faye's partner-in-crime; and Nick (Louis Hunter), the bad boy next door. Do you already have a favorite coven member? And book fans, are you missing any witches who didn't make it into the TV series? The Henderson twins, perhaps?

Not to be outdone, the show's adults proved to be just as interesting (and dramatic) as the teens. You had Charles (a deliciously evil Gale Harold), Diana's father, who killed Cassie's mother in the opening scene (way harsh!); Dawn (Natasha Henstridge), Faye's mother who is in cahoots with Charles; Ethan (Adam Harrington), Adam's alcoholic father who still has feelings for Cassie's mother; and Jane (Ashley Crow), Cassie's grandmother who is not down with the witchcraft—for good reason. No-good, very-bad things have happened in the past courtesy of young covens messing with magic.

So what did you think, gentle viewers? Are you already sucked in? Vote in our Save It or Sink It poll and then head to the comments to defend your opinion and debate with other TV fans!
