President Obama vs. Donald Trump: Is It Over?

In some parts of the TV nation on Sunday night, President Barack Obama's historic speech announcing the death of Osama bin Laden either preempted or aired opposite Donald Trump's heroic decision to rehire LaToya Jackson for Team Backbone.

So, if Obama got Osama, as the new saying goes, did the POTUS get Trump, too?

Nope.

Make no mistake, Obama's Osama moment owned the night. A whopping 56.5 million watched the president's 11:35 p.m.-11:44 p.m. ET address live on nine networks, Nielsen said.

Impressively, however, Celebrity Apprentice was not cut down to size—you know, unlike how its in-house presidential contender fared at Saturday's White House Correspondents' Dinner. The reality show averaged a solid 8.6 million, slightly up from the previous week.

And for that ratings feat Trump can thank NeNe Leakes' supreme distaste for Star Jones

Obama is owed a nod, too: The president exited the podium before Celebrity Apprentice aired on the West Coast.

Why, who says the two are rivals?

Other TV winners—and losers:

Dancing With the Stars: Its Monday edition (22.4 million viewers) scored a rare upset over Wednesday's American Idol (22.3 million) for the No. 1 spot in the latest broadcast rankings.

The Office: A niche hit from beginning to the end of Steve Carell, Michael Scott's farewell finished in fifth place in the 18-49 demo with a season-high 8.4 million overall viewers.

Glee: "Born This Way" ran 30 minutes longer than usual, but the episode ran 1 million viewers shy of the previous week's (with 8.6 million overall). A fluke? Lady Gaga overload?  Or…The Voice?!

The Voice: Yes, its Tuesday opener was Top 10 big, with 11.8 million viewers.

One Life to Live: Even as Oprah Winfrey was kicking dirt on the daytime soap, Deadline.com was asking if ABC axed OLTL "too soon," as the show's post-cancellation performance has been strong.

Audrina: On the downside, its latest new episode averaged 465,000 viewers. On the upside, that number was about average for a VH1 primetime show. On the downside, that number will make no one, especially Audrina Partridge, forget The Hills.
