The Office: Trouble Tonight for Pam and Jim?

The Office, Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski Justin Lubin/NBC

The Office is back tonight with "Baby Shower." Michael is preparing for the birth of Jan's baby, and all the talk about relationships and kiddos leads to some turmoil for our favorite couples. Yes, even Pam and Jim have an off night.

Get the details on all the baby-mama drama and three video sneak peeks of the episode so you can see for yourself...

Bad Jam: From what I've heard, tonight is not the best night ever for Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski). Nothing tragic happens, but the strain of the separation finally gets to our favorite pairing. PB&J endures some major awkwardness and insecurity tonight, and we fans will be meeting here after the ep for a reassuring group hug. Join us, won't you?

Andy Wants More: Michael's (Steve Carell) enthusiasm about procreation is contagious, and Andy (Ed Helms) catches baby fever. He pitches Angela on the idea of having kids, but she turns him down flat. (Something about her cats never forgiving her?) Even though I hope Angela is already pregnant with Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) love child, I'm starting to feel sorry for poor, clueless Andy. You?

Baby Daddy: The identity of Jan's (Melora Hardin) sperm donor is officially anonymous, but we find out tonight that it might be someone we know! Guesses?

Holly Girls: Tonight's episode is a big one for Jan and Michael, but don't give up hope, Holly (Amy Ryan) fans. As it turns out, there's nothing like an afternoon with Jan to make a regional branch manager appreciate his comely HR representative.

Speaking of Holly, I hit the Paley Center event for Office writers on Tuesday (more on that later) and show runner Greg Daniels surveyed the crowd about Holly/Amy Ryan. When the response in the room was uniformly positive and enthusiastic (as it is online), I swear I saw a sly smile pass across his face. I wonder if the writers are cooking up a way that Amy could come back after her six-episode stint is done. Not sure Holly and Toby (Paul Lieberstein) can actually exist in the same space, but brainstorm with me in the comments, won't you? (Could we invent an HR night shift and have one of them cover it?)

Now, check out the preview vids below (the two without screengrabs work, just press play), and then post your ideas for keeping Holly in the comments!
