Misha Collins Returning to Supernatural! How Long Is Castiel Back For?

All the sacrifices made to the CW gods begging for Misha Collins return to Supernatural have paid off!
The CW has officially confirmed that Collins will be returning as fan favorite Castiel later this season. Can you say wheeee?!?!
So how long is he back for? And when is he returning? We've got you covered...

Collins is set to make his glorious return as a guest star in episode 17. Wait, it gets even better!
The CW has also confirmed that Collins will appear in at least two additional episodes after episode 17. While the details surrounding his return to the show are being kept under wraps, we're OK with that. For now, just knowing Castiel is returning is enough for us.
Collins is one hot commodity at the CW. He is set to appear in an upcoming episode of Ringer opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar when the show returns from its hiatus.
