Is Kate Gosselin Really Doing a Dating Show? We Have the Answer

Still figuring out what to get your dad for Father's Day? Well, if he's single, how about...drumroll, please...reality superstar Kate Gosselin?!
No? You'd rather go with a tie?
OK, but according to Life & Style magazine, Kate Gosselin is "working on a deal to do a new reality dating series with ABC" that is "possibly matching her with single dads."
But is it true? Is Kate really doing a dating show? We have the answer:
"Not true," a rep at ABC tells us. And an insider at ABC confirms this, saying there is no dating show with Kate on their development slate.
Kate's TLC rep has this to say: "The Life & Style info is inaccurate. Kate is working on two shows, Kate Plus 8 and Twist of Kate, and that is all. The rumors started when she was on Jimmy Kimmel Live after she was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars and the other guest was Ali (from The Bachelorette). Jimmy jokingly said that Kate should be the next Bachelorette. Kate laughed and made it clear that she had no interest. Then Kate appeared on Live With Regis & Kelly and Kelly also said that Kate should be the next Bachelorette. Again, Kate laughed and said she had no interest."
For shame...because Kate Plus Dates has such a nice ring to it!
So time to weigh in: Would you want to watch Kate handing out roses to eligible Mike Brady types, in the hopes of (this is difficult to even type) Brady Bunching it up and increasing the size of her already sizable family? Is there a big enough staircase in the world for that family photo?
If not a dating show, got any other ideas? 'Cause this woman seems to be collecting TV shows like shoes, and we're guessing we will keep seeing more of her.
